Laughter is nature’s stress buster, and we all know that laughter makes us feel good. Laughter Yoga is simulated as body exercises in a group setting with plenty of childlike playfulness, which soon turns into real and contagious laughter.
Laughter Yoga is not about theory; it is an experiential program. We will learn some fun and interactive Laughter Yoga exercises intertwined with relaxation, stretching and breathing exercises. We will also learn how to change our mood state within minutes by doing these laughter exercises thereby bringing a change in attitude towards others.
Dr. Yvonne Looi is a Joyologist. She is certified in laughter yoga, yoga, family and kids’ yoga. She also has a PhD in Biology. Dr. Looi is currently based in Singapore. During her spare time she can be found unraveling the secrets to healthy living, painting, brewing and executing creative plans aplenty!
